Anti-corruption reform in Italy: a realistic evaluation.

The first chapter of my Ph.D. thesis is a literature review on the concepts of accountability, control and audit applied to the public sector.
I am currently trying to assess weather Italian anti-corruption laws are effective. In order to do so I intend to apply the so-called realistic evaluation approach.
